1. Download the free WoofTrax app by going to the app store on your phone.

2. Open the WoofTrax app and Sign Up. Then choose your favorite animal charity.

Do I have to use my work email to sign up?

You can use your work email or your personal email whatever is your preference.

How does the WoofTrax app work?

After you download and set up the app on your phone, take your phone with you when you walk your dog(s). Simply press the Start Walking button and the app will keep track of your walk. When you are done with your walk, tap Finish. Every walk .25 mile or greater with WoofTrax counts for your selected animal charity.

If I don’t have a dog can I still use the app?

Absolutely! You can walk for dogs at a shelter or rescue by choosing the “Walk with Lexi” option after enrolling in the app for the first time. Or, create your dream dog as a walking companion by adding a dog. 

Can I use my Apple Watch as an activity tracker?

WoofTrax is currently not available for smartwatches and connected devices, including the Apple Watch, but it is something we are looking into! For now, to track your walks and miles with WoofTrax, you would need to take your phone with you when you walk your dog and open the WoofTrax app and select Start Walking now, as the app uses your phone’s GPS to track your walk.

What activity types can I do with the app?

With WoofTrax you can choose walking, running, or cycling.
